In Bombay High Court, millions of pages of stationery are wasted in the name of “Pro Forma”. I brought it repeatedly to the notice of the Chief Justice, the last being my letter dated 28th June 2023. Even today the wasteful practice continues. Till date I haven’t received any reply from the Registry. The Court which slams other wings of the State for the slightest of faults would never see its own faults. Faults of others, mustard seed small, you see all; your own, as large as a melon, you see not, said Buddha. This adage applies with full force when it comes to all courts.
